However, it does not accommodate the 45+, 78- wiring scheme, necessitating an 8-core wire to reach the device. It’s essential to clarify that while this product can transmit power to POE devices, it does not activate POE functionality. In other words, using this product will not transform a non-POE device into a POE device. Conforming strictly to the IEEE802.3AT/AF mode power supply POE transmission standard with the 12+, 36- polarity, this device excludes support for the 45+, 78- polarity, requiring an 8-core wire. It is capable of transmitting data and power up to a distance of 100 meters at a speed of 10/100 Mbps for PC components. Notably, this product enables the streamlined connection of two network devices using a single Ethernet cable, thereby reducing wiring costs. It is well-suited for applications in network monitoring systems and integrated network wiring. It’s important to highlight that the effective range of this product is limited to network transmission within 100 meters, and it does not support Gigabit transmission.
